This wonderful book (in the form of a free-standing Christmas tree) encourages children and adults to consider how Christmas is celebrated around the world.

It is a count-down from day 10 before Christmas until Christmas Day. On every page children hold an object from a specific country, for example an apple for China, a nutcracker for Germany, a spiderweb for Ukraine and hang it on the tree. The opposite page contains explanations about the Christmas traditions all over the world.

The beautiful bright-colored illustrations and the tree-shaped form of the book attract the readers and give them an insight in different Christmas traditions and promote tolerance, inclusion, diversity and the understanding of different cultures.
